Hi,
I wonder how "smartlink" companies such as monetizer.com, lospollos.com etc. do their offer rotation/optimization?
As far as I understand they optimize each micro segment, i.e. os1-carrier1-source-1, os1-carrier-1-source-2, os-2-carrier2-source3 etc. and they optimize based on earnings per view or per thousand views.
I guess they do this over time, like all offers starting equal, then they treat it as a multi arm bandit or other statisitical optimization problem, and then evrey x amount of time they shuffle it in favor of the highest performing offer for that segment.
I know they all probably have their propritary algorithms, that they have developed inhouse. But looking more for the big picture.
Anyone got experience in this, or can do a qualified guess?
Thanks!
