Are there any benefits to pushing uniform social content?

Would it be wise to create a template for each day of the week for posting on social.

Or give the audience something new to always look at?

On one side they can be expecting to see the same style posts each week. But on the other hand I could be limiting the amount of new potential fans / followers.

What do you guys do?

It depends a lot on your niche but I started to realise that it's good to diversify the message.
I started to plan "campaigns" that are connected but with variations based on the media used.
