Best Lead Generation Funnel Creator?

I've been too involved in other areas and lost touch with the whole sales funnel, lead form generation process.

What I'd like to create is a Step 1 2 3, maybe with percentage % as you progress, that asks a few questions and somehow somewhere gets your name and email.

What's the tool for building nice highly converting templates with these features?

I remember leadpages to be one of the best back in the day, kajabi but I think these are too IM-oriented, maybe there's something else for masses

As far as I know, ClickFunnels is "the" current top way of getting it done if you're okay with handing all the data off to a 3rd party.

Updating this thread with what I needed and that is Conversational forms, typeform, these are the future.
