What's the thinking in 2024?
If you have a site about baking and you want to expand into brewing, how would you best do this? In my experience, this can be both difficult and dangerous if you do it the wrong way.
Do you want to gradually build into it, say talking about how you can use barley and wheat to brew, expand on the topic of grains, until you're ranking for that and then go into brewing from your content about barley/wheat.
Or.. is it more important to launch with a full content cluster around the new content? Just make sure to have 10-20 articles ready to go about the new topic.
Do internal linking matter more here and does it matter if the links are contextually relevant, leaning into my first point.
