However, color choice is only a small section of that great article, so I'll put this here for now.

Here are some tools and resources to aid in the color department:

Paletton - http://paletton.com/

Paletton is a great tool to create your own color palettes - Easy to use and loaded with the standard momochrome, triad, etc... patterns.

Adobe Kuler - https://color.adobe.com/explore/newest/

While kuler also lets you make your own palettes, it is the greatest repository of pre-made schemes ever.
Search, explore, export...

Colour Lovers - http://www.colourlovers.com/palettes

Great colour schemes and all around good community.

Design Seeds - http://design-seeds.com/

I am with @Ryuzaki here - Design seeds is a great resource.
