Converting Pinterest Traffic

Has anyone had any luck/experience converting Pinterest traffic?

My health site is getting about 50k visits a month from Pinterest, however I only make about $150/month (adsense). I have a (sort-of) funnel setup for a clickbank product, but I've only gotten 1 sale. I also only get around 5-10 email signups/day. Seems low when you consider I get close to 2k visits each day.

Is Pinterest traffic hard to convert? Or do I just suck at converting traffic?
 
Nah, you just suck at converting the traffic to be honest. I did a case study with 100% of traffic was from Pinterest, I was getting like $900 a month in adsense after 3 months, then decided to make a clickbank product cause no other clickbank product actually fit my demo. This was custom towards the niche completely. I made some good money, site is still on auto-pilot and generates about $250+ in adsense monthly still - but the product is doing about $500 to $1K in sales a month without any further interaction from me. As we've seen in the traffic leak bootcamp, getting traffic is not the problem, it's monetizing it that's the challenge. I wrote a little about this: http://www.wickedfire.com/enlightened-members/180464-monetization-generating-revenue.html.

You might have to create your own product that fits the demo perfectly. I tried to push other stuff, but it was a complete bust. Then I created my own product and that took off like a rocket - same traffic, just targeted to fit like a glove.
 
Yeah that's what I figured. I'll check out the case study, sounds interesting.

This is good news, just gotta do some testing and figure out how to get these ladies to buy stuff. Thanks @CCarter

They are not accessible to anyone except some elevated private members now until they setup the Paid membership stuff or unless someone PDF'd the page of that, Tavins and some other really educational threads and posts them here.

Have you considered doing email marketing? If you're getting 5-10 emails/day, that's 150-300/month. You should have a ton of email addresses sitting there waiting to be sold to.
