Email Marketing Ideas For Amazon Affiliate Site

Hi Guys,

So I am looking to start building my email list on my Amazon affiliate site.

But I need a little inspiration, Do I do a free ebook? Or do I do a giveaway or both?

I know this depends on the niche, but I am just looking for something generic.

What you're looking for is typically called a Lead Magnet. I did a Googly search and here are some ideas I saw:

• eBooks
• Extra Content on the Topic of that Post
• Exclusive Case Studies
• Guides & Checklists & Cheat Sheets
• Tools & Resource Lists & Library Vaults
• Templates of Some Kind (Like Emails)
• Printables (Like a Grocery List Template)
• Gated Content
• Webinar Access
• Giveaway Raffles
• Coupons or Free Shipping

Deciding what the best would is hard. You could do specific extra content for each post but that takes a lot of effort and may not even raise your conversion rate. Also, depending on which kind you offer will effect the quality of the list. I know you can't offer a coupon, but if you did, imagine how many people sign up who really don't care about your brand, they just wanted the product cheaper.

Which you pair will also depend on the type of content you host on your site. On review posts you could pair some kind of guide on using the items you're selling. On info posts you could offer an ebook.

AFAIK Amazon does't allow sending affiliate links via email so you might want to watch out.

Other than that, popup email would be the most obvious.
If you have a FB group, run some FB ads and add a gateway to enter email before you enter

I do one lead magnet per category and its worked well since they propagate across all posts in that cat. That might help a Lil @RMcdonald

this is true. can't share via email or social directly. the way to do it is to send the email with a link to the landing page or review page
