Don't know if you're working for a client or researching for your own site but use Google to get KW volume.
Then you can also use sites like YP, Yelp to check the competition. If you have a sraper, scrape the listings and you can throw them into Ahrefs or Majestic to get an idea of what your competitors are doing. What are the ratios - ie. does the monthly search volume vs. the amount of businesses out there warrant you to move forward? If you find it's saturated but still low competition, then go for it.
