Is there anybody out there making money of financial newsletters,

If yes, can you point me to some of your competitors where I can sign up and see how it is working.

TLDR: I want to sign up to some financial newsletters run by affiliates. Not something like Motley Fool or Tim Sykes.
I remember one Guy from canada in the old wickedfire forums who was big on this. Benji or something.

That financial list is great. LOL at Sykes and his 1 star.

I know a guy who lost his job trading stocks in NYC (probably about 15 years ago) who then moved back to Florida and worked for Weiss Research. He couldn't believe how much money they made (news letters and subscription for research reports) for what he considered bland and indifferent research. One of his most interesting observations was in regards to price point, he said that almost no one (individuals and especially corporate) whoever signed up unsubscribed.

Weiss was also the research firm (I think they were the first, and last that I know of) who began buy/sell ratings on crypto tokens - which was not only an entertaining hoot but probably was great marketing.
