I was just wondering if there are any case studies anywhere of sites that did recover from the medic update? As in, is it even possible or not?
I have 2 sites that were hit quite severely and since that time I've implemented various EAT recommendations such as linking author profiles to their social media (real authors), and hiring medical experts as a review board, also putting their names in manually reviewed articles, etc. I've also ensure proper contact info is available, physical company address, disclaimers, etc.
But I'm wondering, if I'm doing all these things in vain and maybe it would be better to just start with a new domain. Knowing how to show EAT is one thing, but recovering a site is totally different and just implementing EAT may not be enough.
So I was curious if there are any sites that did actually recover from the medic update.
Thanks,
Alex
