I am in the early stages of researching a groupon style business model for my site.
The idea so far is to negotiate rates with a business. Then sell their product at a marked up rate to customers, taking payment on my end. The customers are given a unique gift code for their purchase and the business can log into my site on the front end and redeem these codes. I would then pay out the agreed rate once the code has been redeemed.
I am running wordpress and in the process of researching how to get this done. Any tips? I could use something like Woo commerce which keeps it all on my site or would something 3rd party like shopify be a good option?
