Hi all,
Just wanted to share something interesting I came across today while at work.
Within Google Australia, searching for 'credit cards' will give you the following results:
Now the second listing looked interesting.. "Cheers and Hooroo!"?
If you click through to it, you arrive on the following page:
That's right just one image, nothing else.
Even the text can't be crawled as it's part of the image as well.
So currently (as of the 5th of April) there is an image ranking for one of the most competitive terms in the world within Google Australia.
I did check the URL (http://australia.creditcards.com) within the WayBack Machine and it does seem that there the site was still up on the 15th of March so I'm unsure when the change happened, but still I was quite surprised to see this ranking in #2. Furthermore this probably wouldn't of occurred if creditcards.com didn't have such a strong link profile (DA: 80).
Crazy stuff!
