Is there an automated / easy way to find blogs to comment on which include the url field? I'm looking to identify the websites to then manually review and make meaningful contributions.

Probably, but it isn't worth your time.

Use that time to figure out how to traffic leak from social media.

This a very old crude technique of traffic leaking, but it's very dead. ALL comments are considered UGC (user-generated comment) and therefore ALL platforms nofollow the link, but also go a step further and add the ugc tag:

<a href="https://www.example.com" rel="ugc">example link</a>

If you are looking simply for genuine traffic from these blogs, then yeah it's worth going down this path however the path has had 1,000,000 spammers before you walk it. So the return is significantly less than doing other traffic leaking techniques.
