I would like thank in advance everyone who will have tips from experience on what work for mobile apps to make it successful long term. ( sorry in advance for the major language errors I probably did everywhere )
I am about to have my first ios+android application developed.
It is for my B&M retail brand and it will also sync with my e-commerce.
I can really build anything and here are the first things I plan to integrate in it:
-Feed to notify the users when we have something on sale, events or anything worthy to disturb them.
-Cards stamp system ( everytime you buy 6 you get a seventh for free ) will be now be delivered trough the app.
-Referral system where if you recommend us to a new client trough a link that is sent trough email or SMS as you wish. Your friend will receive 10$ on his first purchase with us.
-This referral system will also give the person who referred the new client 2% in store credits every time his friend use his app unique barcode at the cashier in store or use his unique code online for a year.
-Integration of a chat API inside the app to ask questions to our support.
-Stores addresses and contact info.
We plan to advertise it in stores to our current clients, on our website and trough our email funnels.
-We also plan to integrate tools that already exist in the app store that our market like to use. Those tools tend to be used by the bigger hobbyists who spend a lot more and often.
-e-commerce app will be later since it is a bigger chunk and our online website is already working well on tablet, but the experience on cell phones is not perfect.
