Hey bros,

Just wanted to see what you guys thought of a game plan that I whipped up earlier. Like many of you probably, I had a few big earners of mine get hit pretty damn good in the latest Penguin update. Looking to enter some competitive industries, and looking to put together a solid strategy that will have a bit more staying power than the usual. Let me know what you guys think of it.

On-Page Game

  • Social Media Profiles Created (facebook, twitter, G+, etc...)
  • Virtual Phone Number + Address Created For Site (with schema markup on site)
  • About Us, FAQ, Resources, Disclaimer, Terms, Disclosure, Sitemap
  • 500-1500 word articles with images, bullet points, outbound links, and videos where applicable.
  • Self-Created Blog Comments (to look legit, add credibility, get the conversation started, conversions, etc...)

Off-Page Game

  • Press Releases (branded anchors only)
  • Manual Niche Blog Comments (using NicheOutreach)
  • Forum Posting (relevant forums. AKA: traffic leakin)
  • Pumper Sites on Aged Domains (unique content with contextual linkage on domains with high DA/TF)
  • Web 2.0 Sites (multiple unique articles, about me, etc.... fully flushed out mini sites)
  • Paid Editorial Links (examiner, bleacherreport, ireport.cnn, etc...)
  • Content Curation Links created for new articles (storify, scoop.it, etc...)
  • Guest Posts
  • Social Media Profiles (knowem profiles. Flushed out profiles with bio, avatar, comments on other profiles, friends added, links to my other social media accounts, etc....)
  • Buy Friends/Followers For (G+, Twitter, Facebook. Gotta get dem brand signals)
  • Business Citation Links Using My Virtual Address/Phone (yelp, manta, etc...)
  • Social Signals To Site
  • Use micro job sites to find people to directly enter my brand into google and click on my SERP (continued on regular basis to get them brand signals flowin)

I'm going to top it off with using my own PBN, as well as Sape and Spam to juice up my tier 1s.

For anchor text, I'll probably use branded/URL anchors for majority of the links. Then rely on the 2nd tier to bring relevance to each page using my main anchors.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure what I'd add other than some social bookmarks, only the top stuff like Reddit.

The portion I quoted sounds real good if you actually get in there and interact. Especially if your profile has a do-follow link to your site, I bet you can drain a lot of juice into your profile just by commenting around and adding friends.

Yea, that's probably a good idea. Top 10 social bookmark sites, and use for inner pages, new posts, etc....

Yea, I'll probably end up firing up scrapebox with the query: domain.com/users/ ----> URL Page Rank Check, and then comment/follow on the other members that have the highest PR going to their profile pages, because I know they be active like a mofo. That coupled with some PBN posts should get them profiles nice and juicy.

NicheOutreach was discontinued.

Damn, really? Haven't used it in a few months. Maybe BuzzBundle will work for this then.

@ddasilva I thought the new Penguin update destoyed web 2.0s?But otherwise, good plan!

I'm not referring to the typical Web 2.0 sites that can be easily automated with GSA. I'm referring to Web 2.0 blogs such as wordpress, tumblr, weebly, etc...

@ddasilva Also, have you had any success with the virtual phone numbers and address?

Honestly, this is a step that I typically don't do for my affiliate style sites. Credit to @CCarter for opening my eyes to this in the Big Brand Checklist thread on WF. Mainly adding it to my plan moving forward to look more legit, hopefully add trust, and take advantage of those business citation links that I can now use. How many affiliate sites have address/phone, with links from high profile sites like yelp, manta, etc....? Prob not many.

I have done this on a project before, for the very same reason. Just to get tons of citations and build a giant brand footprint. I gave them a little help getting indexed after letting them naturally index first. I didn't see any immediate boost. I did this across 3 sites actually. However, I do believe that those links were well worth the time and will contribute to the sites "staying power" over time. I'd say that they did give a boost just in terms of the number of referring domains coming in as well. It's a good chance to build a lot of URL anchors and other brand signals. Would I do it for a spam project? Probably not.
