Product Launch - Sales Funnel

Hello guys,

I am researching the topic of sales funnels for an upcoming product launch. I watched some of Frank Kern`s material, which is in my opinion excellent. The only thing I do not like is that he is blowing his product up a little bit by adding a lot of bullshit, such as installing website etc.

Another book I find quite good is the book launch by Jeff Walker, which is a rather high level introduction into product launches. Even though the mental triggers he talks about are extremely interesting!

I am still on the search for something more practical, than just some abstract approaches...

I have two questions regarding sales funnels/product launches:

1. Do you have any suggestions, how to successfully launch a product? What have you done/tried? What makes a product launch successful?
2. Any suggestions, regarding some resources/tutorials/"gurus", who have interesting approaches about sales funnels/product launches?
