People who suddenly become wealthy often suffer from extreme fear of losing their money, isolation from former friends, and guilt. Having a plan, avoiding indiscretions, and being discrete about your wealth avoids this. In short, don't make an identity of being rich, once you've become rich, no matter how poor you are. That's how the money ruins your life. I also see this in myself and other people who have several cents to their name. For the people who are close to you, you can let them know, if it makes you feel closer to them. For others, just fit in.
Anyone else experienced this?
