Lately I've launch my new site, for one of the pages I've created a link to one of my internal pages through reddit.com, afterward I notice that this is the only page which has stable ranking and it even got organic traffic.

This really motivated me to create back links I think it's still super important, I'm reading many guides such as the Skyscrapper technique, etc...

But I think you'll know better - what is your method to get links? Let's share this valuable information

STOP THE PRESSES! You got a back link, it helped you rank better, and now you want another?!?!? HOLD THE PHONE. Now you think back links are important?

Here's an answer: don't bother, because if the content on your site sucks as bad as the threads you start here, nobody's going to link to it anyways.

You're making fun of a beginner, who is posting in the beginner's section of the message board? That's real big of you.

A member with such accomplishments and prestige as you must have already won the internet if you have the time to come here and belittle people who are trying to learn something new.

To extend what stackcash linked to, you should directly read this post: http://pointblankseo.com/link-building-strategies

It essentially lists every single type of link you can get. Of course there's more, but those are ones you don't want. The benefit of that post is you can even filter it by time-to-execute, value of the link, and dependencies.

That's pretty much the Bible of link building.
