Cowabunga fellow builders...

I'm trying to push a ripoff report from the bottom of page 1 of my branded searches.

The good news is, we have a lot of branded properties and profiles on high authority sites where we contribute content. What we've been doing lately is putting links in some bios to these properties instead of our homepage (on sites we already have links from).

I know we could possibly spam these properties to move them up, but are there any other methods besides GSA links or PBN links that would help move them up?

If the sites have communities built into them where you can contribute, do that to build links back to your profile.

Yeah, this is a great approach because the internal links are usually do-follow everywhere on the site, which allows you to drain juice back to your profiles, which is usually the only place on the site that allows do-follow external links. This will help rank the profiles and rank your main site in the process.

Interlinking.

Yeah, the more of these profiles that you can link to one another the better as well.

There's the other more spammy options like setting up automated IFTT networks of web 2.0's behind each web 2.0, so each time you publish on them they gain more links from the supporting properties.

You could also aim a few contextual do-follow links that would allow you to precisely sculpt your anchor ratios, and then hit those contextuals with something else like do-follow blog comments and sculpt their own anchor ratios. This way you're not doing mass spam at all but using anchors to push your way up. You can be more aggressive with your anchors when the page itself has few links. You can even go to 100% (not that I would), especially when there's not enough links for the algorithm to determine if it's unnatural or not. Couple that with the fact that those pages linking to you themselves have an anchor profile highly optimized for the term.

Awesome suggestions!

@Ryuzaki, I have an IFTTT network (like ones Semantic Mastery teaches about), that syndicates our articles out to our Web 2.0s, I have about pages on those with unique content that are ranking for brand terms and brand terms + reviews/complaints. There's not a second tier though, but I'd rather not go that route.

Do you have any suggestions on anchor text ratios? Will to many "brand + reviews/complaints" potentially get me in trouble?

I'm literally going to do all these suggestions. I love this forum!
