What's the market rate for link compensation?

So in the past few weeks, I've been getting periodic outreach emails. They want a link from my site to theirs.

They'll typically offer compensation or a link exchange. I've mostly been exchanging links with them sometimes 2-way and other times 3-ways.

However I was wondering, if I didn't really want a link from their particular site, what is the going rate for how much you should expect as compensation for the link? Is there a rough guideline?

I think it depends on your site quality, in terms of traffic and authority. It could be $25 to $100. Just for an idea. You can ask for whatever amount you want, they will negotiate.

I have getting a lot of emails from guest post services. They offer compensation according to moz or ahrefs DA. e.g. $15 for 15 DA.
