STDDIOT - Stuff That Doesn't Deserve Its Own Thread

I guess someone should say something about this - AngelFire and Tripod have shutdown permanently by Lycos - which also is done. The parent company is Brightcom Group which appears to be a media marketing agency - a company located in India, interesting.

It's GeoCities and FortuneCity all over again.

I guess it was time.

I just saw this now, nooooooo! My site on angelfire was one of the few sites that was still up since 1998. It was my first site as a kid and was a great experience learning html. Those were the good times for sure.

eBaying most of my possessions (guns aside), will be interesting to see what sales/doesn't, who has money, etc. $11k in 30 days so far. Don't need the money, but it's fun. Stuff is just sitting here, earning me no interest. Feels good to clear out stuff. No interest in buying more stuff. It's just too much stuff lol.

Trying to see if I can just be content with computers, camera, guns, clothes, and minimal whatever else. Rounded up everything in house, threw it in office, listed on eBay, and now my office has become a mini shipping warehouse hub. Things everywhere. It's very satisfying to see things get removed/sold.

Interesting to see so far, eBay's algorithm is super picky/gives you visibility then removes it. Flood of sales, then nothing. It's like mini Google but for selling, wild.

I keep so much worthless stuff just because of the memories - I'm not at hoarder level or anything, but I've got plenty of junk all the same.
