Surprised this hasn't been added yet.

There's no need this forum should get as quiet as it's become and we can change that by adding an AI subforum.

It can be about broad AI, but also ways to monetize AI and how to create tool sites etc.

Suggestions for name for the subforum?

If this forum doesn't start adapting, it's heyday would have been the 2010's when affiliate marketing with SEO was possible.

Correct, but this is now the golden age of AI and there's a lot of money to be made.

Authority Hackers are also shutting down their entire SEO course operation as has Matt Diggity and moving into AI, so I imagine many former SEOs and affiliate marketers are doing the same.

JCash was right, SEO... what a fucking waste of time.

The ones in the jungle who survive are the ones who can adapt to the new environment.

It was dead around 2021 only, up until then there were still easy niches and covid was a short golden age in its own, but it kept it alive longer than it should have.

In any case, I doubt many SEOs are missing the content grind, what a fucking waste of time.

Is there a way to combine, studio, foundry and muh AI to clean things up a bit and facilitate discussion.

We've been discussing this. It really boils down to intent (like in Google) and differentiation of content. Foundry and Studio could be combined but that would also introduce too much noise for each group. I should mention that I do prefer to have fewer sub-forums, which is why we chose to put Social Media in with Marketing instead of it's own section.

With A.I., the decision has been made to create a new sub-forum. Because it's such a consumer-centric and user-facing tool at this point, as opposed to something only developers have access to, we're choosing not to put it under DevOps.

So within minutes, we'll have the A.I. section live, and you can expect to see it begin to be prepopulated with existing threads from around the forum.

Great, yes, there might be a lot of confusion with AI, is it devops or indie hacking or building. Overall, I think if this forum is to thrive, it must change to reflect the AI revolution as this is what people everywhere are using in form or another to make money now.

Would you guys use a master type of thread where we can share / discuss helpful prompts and prompt engineering?

I was thinking to create one but I wanted to collab a bit if anyone has thoughts.

Should it be focused on a specific type, like AI coding prompts, AI writing prompts or should it just be a universal prompt sharing thread?

It could be helpful for running different types of experiments with AI.

AI coding prompts
We only need one 'why is my database gone. fix it!' :D.

Jokes aside though I'd hate for us to get into the twitter style 'check out this prompt' stuff. Most of the interesting AI discussion is around all the new tooling, ways to make it more resilient in production, limitations folks run into in that regard (despite OpenAI hype suggesting otherwise :D). and so on...

Why not just create it and start populating it yourself? Grab life by the balls buddy.
