I always go by the chart. XRP is following BTC and BTC sentiment. You won't find a case on the chart where BTC is failing but XRP and friends are just flying. There's always going to be some latest rumor/hype that will move the needle a bit and then when reality hits, the price moves back to fair value. I don't trade news exclusively and in isolation, that stuff is only confirmation of existing trends. Like, I know a few traders that do things like buying a ticker because they heard earning were going to be good and I'm like "why do that?" Why not just wait till earnings day and if things are running, take entry then. I'm a huge believer in "trade what you see, not what you think". XRP is strugging hard to stay above $2 and I don't think it's really going to move till it gets over about $2.65 or so.

Most of the time I go with "News" as I see things early sometimes. But yeah, most of the time def go with the data.

XYO, you think this will be listed on Binance and rip past 4 cents?
 
And bitcoin is now poised to hit $120K and XRP is near $3

@SmokeTree What say you brethren of the crypto to these shifts. Are we about to see a parabolic shift upwards or this a normal cycle?

Under the new POTUS , all markets virtually been stinking it up vs 'how it was'.

I made more than enough to survive and be well, but the way the market is this year, thanks to all the flip-flop bogus rhetoric and political turmoil... stinks

Compared to the last 2 years, this year is just a 'meh' year and also thanks to the threat of World War coming i'm definitely thinking outside the box and not being so big on keeping it all crypto.

I'm even worried Bitcoin's true creator will be exposed and cause a tank.

I have conspiracy thoughts that it's 1 of 3 countries, but hopefully not.

Ethereum or LTC or something might become the new champ one day if that theory materializes

haha yeah man, if we end up discovering something like, that bitcoin was just some scheme invented by Mossad to decipher Arab communications, then I bet you everyone would abandon Bitcoin ASAP!

But nah man. relax. As long as the cryptography is secure, the bitcoin will be there. Its value? Well, it is a deflating currency so it should always go up. But how Mr. Market values bitcoin? Yeah that swings wildly with the news. If you have extra cash, this would be a good time to do dollar cost averaging.
